Light Bleaching

lights are too close or
"Bleaching is usually due to the shock of being exposed to to much light to fast. Like I had a 1 month old plant that was under a cool white fluoro the whole time, and when I put it outside, the leaves bleached white because they werent used to the powerful sun. Thats why you have to harden plants off before you change their environments from In to Out."

    Ahh - that explains it. I moved plants from an area covered by CFL into a bloom area with much more intense light.
