Powdery Mildew
| Powdery mildew is a fungal disease that affects a wide range of plants. Powdery mildew diseases are caused by many different species of fungi in the order Erysiphales. It is one of the easier diseases to spot, as its symptoms are quite distinctive. Infected plants display white powdery spots on the leaves and stems. The lower leaves are the most affected, but the mildew can appear on any above-ground part of the plant. |

I've used Greencure for PM, which is also potassium bicarbonate.
I'm exploring the use of a plug in solution.

Not that anytning is wrong with greencure, but I've had to reapply it a couple times on a single grow and I'd prefer something that is more... passive.

My two cents on PM attacks, that I have dealt with is, stay vigilant above all else. Even if whatever you use isnt the greatest but keeps it down and from spreading then do it until a better method is available.
I used skim milk bot on vegetative and flowering plants. However I am shying away from this method in search of other alternatives.
One method I have tried is a product named PM Eraser it contains lactose, potassium bicarbonate and odorless garlic powder. I used it on flowering plants and it didnt turn my flowers darker like reg milk did. My flowers stayed white, I even use it during 3rd week and no visible side effects. Will I rinse before harvest? Yes.
Although PM Eraser does work, and well, I notice I do have to reapply 1 a week for my growing conditions so I am still searching for a product that might combat PM through nutrition alone.
One new product I am getting ready to try is called 'No Powdery Mildew' made by Greenway Nutrients. I am interested because its natural and the company claims it can be used through harvest with no aftertaste, all natural.
I would love feedback on that product if anyone here has tried it.
Other than that, I hear foliar teas can also stop PM attacks and even spider mites but I have not tried this method yet, I would love to hear feedback.
